But the big story here is Tengah — Singapore's newest town, planned as the country's first car-free town centre, with underground roads and an emphasis on green living. It's still under construction, but when completed, Tengah will house tens of thousands of residents in a genuinely forward-thinking urban environment. The Jurong Region Line will serve Tengah, connecting it to the Jurong Lake District. For BTO-watchers, Tengah has been one of the most popular launch locations in recent years.
